Tenet Investment Company is an investment manager deploying capital to pursue early stage, growth, and buy out opportunities in private markets.

Our early-stage investments are focused on innovative, typically technology enabled companies operating in high impact sectors across the globe, such as financial services, education, healthcare, food and agribusiness, logistics/mobility and other technology pure-plays.
We seek entrepreneurs that are change makers driven by a passion to transform industries, improve lives and create prosperity.

Our later-stage strategy is focused on lower middle-market companies in the US where we see an opportunity to not only help companies with domestic growth but also international growth using our contacts and experience.

We invest in early-stage private companies (Seed - Series D), with amounts ranging from $50k to $2 million
Primary focus on global opportunities that either emanate from Africa or have applicability to African economies
Solid team with a strong technical background
Innovative solutions with high technical entry barriers
Solving a problem with a large addressable market
Traction on monetization strategy with clear line of sight to positive cashflow

US Private Equity Strategy

Equity investments ranging from $5m to $20m
Lower middle-market companies with EBITDA ranging from $2m - $10m and Enterprise Value from $10m - $50m
Focus on diverse sectors including consumer and retail, industrials, manufacturing and financial services
Typically looking to acquire majority control of US companies
Seeking companies with strong management teams and founders looking to retire

Value Add

We support our portfolio companies with a vast network built over 60 years, being the combined experience of our founders operating and financing companies in Africa, U.K. and USA. We also provide our portfolio companies with market access opportunities, debt funding and follow-on funding opportunities through relationships with investors and financial institutions in multiple jurisdictions.
